Christopher Ranch was losing market share to Chinese grown garlic. The average grocery store consumer was uninformed about the health and flavor benefits of California grown garlic and why it was ultimately superior to Chinese grown garlic
The goal was to develop a strategy to address this significant problem, which was affecting their bottom line. We set out to develop a new consumer-centric web experience that would primarily educate users about specific health and flavor benefits of choosing California grown garlic, but would also help to create a dialog between Christopher Ranch and their customers.
A new web site that vaults the perception of garlic from merely an ingredient to an essential part of a flavor-filled, healthy lifestyle. The site is an engaging web experience that is a major step forward in the evolution of the Christopher Ranch brand. It allows users easy access to scientific resources and information about their superior garlic products, while also presenting information about the history and expertise of the company. In addition, we created a recipes section where users can interact with the company by submitting their own garlic recipes for use on the site.
